I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Springfield High
School (class of '74). I became interested in photography while in school
and worked at a local studio for a short time after graduating.

I continued photography, shooting mainly weddings, while working for a
newspaper and printing supply company from 1976 to 1985. Starting out in
the production department, progressed into servicing graphic arts
equipment, and then into sales.

On July 1, 1985 I became the owner of Quoin Graphics, a small offset
print shop. With a scared wife, Susie (also a SHS graduate,'75),and a
nervous mother-in-law I was in business. As the business grew I moved
twice to larger facilities. The final move was to the current location of
Cardinal Printing.

Twelve years later I made the decision to sell the business and spend
time with my two fast growing and fast moving boys, Nathaniel and Andrew.
Cardinal Printing was looking to expand and Pam and Vince purchased the business from me.

In May 2007, Vince and Pam sold the business to me, and it will continue to be called Cardinal Printing, operating as a Quoin, Inc. Company.

My hobbies are photography and music.

I've been married to Susie for 30 years and Nathaniel is 20 and Andrew is
15.
